Selected candidates will be contacted to arrange an interview.  Preference is given to experienced applicants that possess a valid Security Guard licence.  

SECURITY GUARD LICENCE REGULATIONS - All Security Guards (both contract and in-house) working in Ontario must possess a valid Security Guard Licence issued by the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services. Before applying for a security guard licence, individuals must complete a Ministry approved 40 hour Basic Security course which includes First Aid.  This training can be arranged through our office.  

On completion of the course the next step is to book the test through the Ministry testing vendor (Serco DES) at www.ontariosecuritytesting.ca or by calling 1 (866) 248-2555. This website includes testing locations and preparation instructions. The test must be completed and the passing grade achieved before submitting a licence application.  The Security Guard licence application form along with eligibility requirements and instructions can be found on the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services website (www.mcscs.jus.gov.on.ca) under the Private Investigators and Security Guards section.
